Procurement

Fixed project cost. No lock-In. Clear savings.

Embedd is scoped and priced per project — not as an enterprise platform. The cost is predictable, allocatable to a single project, and benchmarked against the engineering effort it replaces.

What Changes for Procurement

This is a project cost, not an IT spend. Each Embedd engagement is tied to a specific engineering project — a defined hardware target, a defined deliverable, a fixed price. It sits in the project budget alongside other engineering costs, not in an enterprise software line item.

No enterprise license, no per-seat fees, no long-term commitment. You scope one project. If it works, you scope another on the same terms. There is no platform lock-in — the generated code is yours, the Digital Twin model is yours.

The savings are measurable. The project cost is anchored to the engineering effort it replaces — typically 70–85% less than equivalent manual BSP development. The comparison is straightforward: what would this driver work cost with your internal team or an outsourced supplier, versus what it costs with Embedd.

Scaling doesn't change the procurement model. If the organisation wants to do more projects, each one is scoped independently. There is no threshold where project-based procurement becomes an enterprise contract — unless you want it to.
